Job summary

Arrow Dental, LLC is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our Astoria clinic. The hygienist will perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, radiographs, and periodontal maintenance while upholding Oregon regulations. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Must have an active Oregon license, ADHA ethics compliance, and strong patient communication skills. Two years of dental office experience is preferred, with benefits including medical/dental and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Hygienist with an active Oregon license.
• Follows ADHA Professional Code of Ethics.
• Two years dental office experience preferred.
• Nitrous certification is a plus.
• Digital radiography experience is a plus.
• Excellent reading, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Prepares patient for dental hygiene treatment and seating.
• Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment.
• Performs dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Completes radiographs and periodontal charting as appropriate.
• Educates patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
