Job summary

Growing Grins Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team. You will provide preventative care to children from infancy through adolescence in a bright, state-of-the-art facility, focusing on a fun, safe, and positive experience.

The ideal candidate is licensed, detail-oriented, and comfortable with digital charting, radiographs, and OSHA/CDC/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed dental hygienist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric preventative care including scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments and sealants.
• Provide health education to children and guardians.
• Capture high-quality digital radiographs with patient comfort in mind.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient charts and records.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory per OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with children and parents to create a welcoming environment.

Growing Grins Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a motivated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our specialized pediatric team. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about working with children—from infancy through adolescence—to provide high-quality preventative care. You will work in a large, bright, state-of-the-art facility where we focus on making dental visits a fun, safe, and positive experience for every young patient.

Growing Grins is a team-centered pediatric practice dedicated to clinical excellence and compassionate care. Our facility is fully digital and equipped with the latest technology to support our staff and serve our community. We pride ourselves on a collaborative culture where hard work and attention to detail are valued. We are currently expanding our hygiene services and are looking for a team member who wants to grow with us in a vibrant, supportive environment.

Pay

• $32 - $44 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements

• License & Certification: Licensed dental hygienist
• Licensure: Valid state dental hygiene license.
• Compliance: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA.
• Technical Skills: Confidence in computer literacy, digital charting, and the use of digital radiographs.
• Professionalism: Well-organized, reliable, and possessing outstanding communication skills.
• Clearances: Ability to pass a mandatory background check.
• Health Policy: Proof of flu and COVID-19 vaccination provided within 90 days of the start date.

Preferences

• Experience working specifically within a pediatric dental specialty.
• Advanced knowledge of pediatric patient management techniques.
• Familiarity with large, high-volume, state-of-the-art dental facilities.

Job Description

• Pediatric Preventative Care: Perform specialized scaling, coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and dental sealant placements for children and teens.
• Health Education: Provide age-appropriate oral hygiene and dietary instructions to patients and their guardians.
• Radiography: Capture high-quality digital radiographs with a gentle approach for pediatric comfort.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient charts and records.
• Safety & Sterilization: Sterilize instruments according to strict OSHA and CDC regulations and maintain a clean, well-stocked operatory.
• Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively with both children and adults to ensure a welcoming and stress-free environment.
