Requirements

• License & Certification: Licensed dental hygienist

License: Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures.

Skills: Proficiency in Dentrix for documentation review and EHR management. Knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, infection control protocols, and radiation safety.

Job Description

Overview: Patient-centric practice focused on providing excellent dental care, utilizing bacterial testing, laser disinfection, LANAP, and evidence-based practices to combat periodontitis. Offers patient amenities including IV and non-IV sedation.

Duties: Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing. Take and develop digital dental radiographs while ensuring patient safety. Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain accurate electronic health records using Dentrix. Adhere strictly to infection control and sterilization protocols.
