Job summary

Liberty Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated dental hygienist to join our private practice. You will perform cleanings, take digital X-rays, assess oral health, and educate patients in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and calculus.
• Assess patients’ oral health, including screening for gum disease and cavities.

• Take digital radiographs to assist in diagnosing dental conditions; unit in every treatment room.
• Keep accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Work closely with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Apply sealants, fluoride treatments to prevent cavities.

Your Role

• Patient Care: Provide thorough dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and calculus.
• Oral Health Assessments: Assess patients’ oral health, including screening for gum disease and cavities.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and the importance of dental health.
• Digital X-Rays: Take digital radiographs to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. There is a unit in every treatment room!
• Documentation: Keep accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Preventive Care: Apply sealants, Curodont, and fluoride treatments to prevent cavities.
