Job summary

Dental365 at Union Dental Health in Lewisburg, PA seeks a licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver concierge-level care in a modern, patient-centered practice. You’ll work closely with dentists to support preventive care, document histories, take x-rays, and provide at-home care instructions.

We offer a flexible schedule with Mon and Fri shifts, occasional Saturday hours, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth within our Hygiene Executive Committee.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in the relevant state.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of concierge care with exceptional chair side manners, building trust with our patients.
• Enhancing overall oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
• Thoroughly documenting and reviewing detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Taking x-rays and intraoral images to aid in treatment planning and note progress/changes.
• Conducting precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist.
• Proficiently handle emergency measures in response to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 2:00pm (twice per month)
• Potential to be flexible in our schedule!

RESPONSIBILITES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in respective state
• Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
• Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, encompassing dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
