Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist who enjoys building positive relationships with patients while delivering preventive care.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, perform routine cleanings, and support a strong recall program within a team-focused environment. The role includes responsibilities such as prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and cavity prevention, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program.
• Valid state license is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is preferred.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and fluoride/sealant applications.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and periodontal health, update records, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist.
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by the dental practice act.
