Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic dental hygienist to build strong relationships with patients while performing preventative dental procedures and educating patients on oral hygiene.

You will collaborate with dentists to deliver high-quality care, maintain patient records, and contribute to a positive clinic environment. Responsibilities include gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride/sealant applications, and patient counseling on oral health and

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and fluoride/sealant applications
• Accurately chart patient history, periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act
