Qualifications

• Current unrestricted dental hygiene license is required.
• N2O permit required and must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Apply the dental hygiene process of care as a framework for care delivery.
• Gather accurate patient data for comprehensive assessment and record findings.
• Document assessment findings and communicate with the dentist to plan treatment.
• Explain treatment plans to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Provide prophy, scaling, root planing, education, and preventive care per plan.
• Maintain infection control and PPE per policy; use sterilization procedures.
• Travel to other Willamette Dental locations within a reasonable range as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance and contribute to a collaborative dental team.
