Job Summary:

The Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) directs oral hygiene care for KPDCP members, including comprehensive prevention, maintenance, therapeutic dental treatment, and/or restorative services. The RDH educates members about their oral health status and motivates them to achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient oral hygiene care: Deliver comprehensive prevention, maintenance, and therapeutic dental treatments, including restorative services.
2. Data collection and documentation: Record patient oral health information in compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Oral hygiene instruction and education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
4. Work environment maintenance: Maintain a clinical environment compliant with health and safety standards.
5. Support office functions: Assist with other duties during downtime to promote a cooperative and positive work environment.
6. Additional duties: Perform other tasks as requested.
