This Dental Hygienist position is located at Craven Correctional Institution in Vanceboro, NC, a Diagnostic Processing Center housing approximately 850 medium custody male offenders. The Dental Hygienist reports to the Dentist at Craven Correctional and is responsible for performing duties under the supervision of a licensed dentist, including:
Assists the dentist in planning and implementing dental health programs.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with State Benefits. Applicants must pass a background check to be eligible.

Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, skills with dental equipment and radiographic techniques, and be licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in North Carolina.
