Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz College of Nursing seeks a full-time Dental Hygienist for Sheridan Health Services in southwest Denver, CO to provide preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare to adults and children.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, document in Epic, and participate in BOHI/MDI/PCMH/CLAS models while mentoring students and delivering high-quality care in a federally qualified health center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current, unrestricted Colorado Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure by date of hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess dental conditions and treatment needs; review medical, dental, and behavioral health histories.
• Deliver direct patient care and perform hygiene procedures per licensure and standards.
• Perform preventive and periodontal procedures for patients of all ages.
