About Trailwinds Dental Care

Trailwinds Dental Care, like all Heartland Dental-supported offices, is tailored to its community and patients. With support from a practice manager, a highly trained on-site team, and a nationwide network of experts, you’ll be fully connected to all necessary resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records.
• Desire to continue learning and grow your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
