As a Full Time Dental Hygienist, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals at our small practice with great hours!
Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule:
Monday 7:30am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Wednesday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Thursday 7:30am - 3:00pm
1 Friday per Month 7:30am - 2:00pm, no lunch break

Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
Reviewing patient's history and charting
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Qualifications:
Active Washington DC Hygienist license required
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred
Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
Experience with dental practice software
Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
