Job summary

Dental Associates in Wisconsin is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will deliver high-quality hygiene care, build positive patient relationships, and participate in ongoing education and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin hygiene license required; recent or soon-to-be graduates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to provide excellent patient service and communication.
• Strong team collaboration and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive patient experience from greeting to checkout and follow-up.
• Deliver clinical hygiene services including removal of calculus, stains and supragingival/subgingival deposits.
• Perform periodontal therapy as prescribed and conduct head/neck exams as part of patient assessment.
• Chart conditions of decay and disease for dentist review; support during examinations.

COMPENSATION

• Guaranteed hourly base pay of $51.00 with annual increases
• Plus, unlimited bonus potential of an EXTRA $3.00-20.00 bringing pay to $54-71/hour
• Guaranteed$5,000Production Bonus in the first four months

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a positive experience throughout the entire patient interaction; from greeting, to seating and completing their in-clinic visit

• Exhibiting excellent customer service to create a positive patient experience, ensuring all treatment is provided with an awareness of individual patient’s needs and concerns
• Removing calculus deposits, accretions, stains, and cement from supra and sub-gingival surfaces of the teeth
• Performing periodontal therapy, including scaling & root planning when prescribed
• Completing head, neck and intra/extra-oral exams to detect any abnormal swelling or lesions that could indicated any type of pathology
• Examining teeth and assessing periodontal health of each patient to prior to exam by dentist
• Charting conditions of decay and disease for treatment as diagnosed by dentist assisting during examination

Job Requirements

• State of Wisconsin hygiene license (recent or soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply!)

Preferences

• Ability to administer local anesthetic agents strongly preferred
