Job summary

Gattis School Road Dental, supported by Heartland Dental, is hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our Round Rock clinic. The role runs Tue–Fri as a full-time position, with hourly pay and an option for Daily Pay, plus opportunities for daily and quarterly bonuses.

You will work in a multi-doctor practice using Dentrix, performing 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments, and providing SRP at the hygienist’s discretion.

Qualifications

• Current TX dental hygienist license and a degree in dental hygiene (Associate or Bachelor's).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform 60-minute recare and 90-minute new patient appointments.
• Hygienist discretion for SRP procedures.
• Operate with Dentrix and dental lab/lab labs for patient care.
• Utilize Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners and EMR in patient care.

Full Time: Tues - Fri

Multi-doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix

60min recare, 90min new patient appointment

SRP - hygienist's discretion

Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned.

Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TX and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)


• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation


• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience


• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems


• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health


• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times


• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
