Today's Family Dental in Waco, TX is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The role offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling in a supportive, tech-forward practice that values collaboration and continuous learning.

You will deliver comprehensive hygiene care, utilize state-of-the-art tools like iTero, Diagnodent, and digital x-rays, and participate in ongoing mentorship and training programs to enhance clinical skills and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current TX dental hygienist license.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in dental hygiene.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental hygiene care to patients.
• Perform SRP with autonomy as needed.
• Support patients with education and lifetime oral health.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TX and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New Graduate or years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
