Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Open to new graduates or experienced hygienists.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
• Result of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, with the test arranged during the pre‑employment process. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
