Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Greer Family Dental Care, Greer, South Carolina

Greer Family Dental Care is looking to welcome a part‑time Dental Hygienist to our growing team! We’re open to both experienced hygienists and new graduates who are excited to learn, collaborate, and grow within a supportive, team‑focused practice.

Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Hygiene day concludes once notes and operatory clean‑up are complete.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and seasoned hygienists are welcome.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions; not applicable in FL & TN.
