Job summary

BRSL Dentistry Patterson in Richmond, VA is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our warm, collaborative team. You will provide prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, X-rays, and oral cancer screenings, while educating patients on preventive dentistry and maintaining high standards of care.

We offer a Monday-Thursday, 8am–5pm schedule with medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays. New grads welcomed; CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Virginia Dental Hygienist required; new grads welcome.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient education.
• Experience delivering comprehensive hygiene care including prophylaxis, periodontal probing, x-rays, oral cancer screenings, and scaling.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, periodontal probing, and scaling.
• Take and interpret dental X-rays and perform oral cancer screenings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dentists and team to deliver comprehensive hygiene care.
