Heartland Dental’s Metro Dentalcare Richfield in Richfield, MN is seeking a Dental Hygienist for a full-time, Tue-Fri schedule. Pay starts at $60/hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and PAID covered parking. The office offers general and specialty dentistry, excellent mentorship, and robust education resources.

You’ll be recognized as an elite clinician and patient advocate, supported by a hygiene mentor program and extensive continuing education to enhance your clinical skills and patient care.

Qualifications

• MN dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene care and patient advocacy.
• Be an integral part of the patient care team with mentorship and education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New Graduate or years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
