Valley Dental Group is adding a Dental Hygienist to the team in Minnesota. Our hours are Mon–Thu with occasional Friday, flexible as needed, and you will be an elite clinical provider and patient advocate with strong support from a hygiene mentor program.

Formación

• Current MN dental hygienist license required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• Solid knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• CPR certification is required.

Valley Dental Group is adding a hygienist to the team. Our hours are Mon 7-330, Tue 7-330, Wed 7-330, Thurs 7-1 Fri 7-330 but we are flexible! As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• No expereince needed!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
