Ashton North LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to provide preventive and therapeutic dental care in a community health setting. You will perform exams, chart dental findings, take radiographs, and contribute to patient education and clinic operations.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, infection control, and collaboration with dental assistants and providers to support recall systems and referrals.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with licensure and established dental hygiene protocols
• Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, including medical history review, dental and periodontal charting
• Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, debridement, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Monitor blood pressure and assess overall oral health status at each visit
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care
• Document all clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient interactions in the electronic dental record
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
• Support clinic operations, including recall systems, supply management, and operatory organization
• Assist during peak clinic times and collaborate with dental assistants and providers

Compensation: $65K - $87K per year + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Job Type: Full Time. 4/10 hour days.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
