Dental Hygienist

Desert Smiles Dentistry is growing and adding a Full Time Hygienist to their team. Schedule is
Mon - OFF, Tues 8-5pm, Wed 8-5pm, Thurs 8-5pm, Fri 8-3pm.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Arizona and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experienced and new grads welcome to apply.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, to be arranged during the pre-employment process, except in FL & TN.
