Job summary

Gentle Dental Sheridan is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a team that focuses on high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

You will perform comprehensive hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, partner with dentists on treatment plans, and help build lasting relationships while enjoying a competitive hourly wage of $60-$65 and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License or ability to obtain one by the time of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions.
• Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care.
• Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll be an essential part of each patient's care team. You'll provide preventive and periodontal services while helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
