Job summary

Gentle Dental Sheridan is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered team in Sheridan, Oregon. You will provide preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and collaborate with dentists to create effective treatment plans in a supportive environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $60–$65, full-time schedule (Monday–Thursday), and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License or ability to obtain by start of employment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials.
  • Strong patient communication and education skills.
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
  • Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions.
  • Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care.
  • Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
  • Collaborate with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll be an essential part of each patient's care team. You'll provide preventive and periodontal services while helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.

Compensation
$60-$65 per hour
Schedule

Full-Time, Monday–Thursday
