Job summary

Gentle Dental Sheridan is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Sheridan team, delivering preventive and periodontal care and building lasting relationships with patients. You will educate patients on oral health and partner with dentists to plan and support treatments in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License or ability to obtain one by employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions.
• Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care.
• Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Hygienist, you‘ll be an essential part of each patient‘s care team. You‘ll provide preventive and periodontal services while helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.

$60-$65 per hour
