Job summary

Plaza Health Dental, part of Heartland Dental, seeks a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team at 9420 Watson Road, St. Louis, MO 63126. You’ll perform hygiene procedures, educate patients and help manage care in a 2-doctor practice with Dentrix software.

The position offers bi-weekly hourly pay with Daily Pay, plus opportunities for daily and quarterly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k, dental, vision and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Experience with dental tools and patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene care including cleanings, screenings and patient education.
• Document medical history and treatment plans in the EMR.
• Assist in case management and preventive education for patients.

Plaza Health Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Location

9420 Watson Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63126

Work Schedule (open to part-time)

Monday 8 am-5 pm, Tues 8 am-5 pm, Wednesday 8 am-5 pm, Thursday 9 am-6 pm

2 doctor practice, utilizing Dentrix!

60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!

Bi-weekly, hourly pay + ability to opt into Daily Pay to receive paycheck as earned. Ability to earn daily + quarterly bonuses!

We have Arestin, iTero, Velscope + CE coverage available!

Full-time is a minimum of 30 hours to receive the full benefits package, which includes UnitedHealthcare PPO Health Care. Paid Holidays, 401k, Dental, Vision, Wellness Benefits + More!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Missouri and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
