Job summary

Concerned Dental Care of Richmond Hill is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered team on a 2-day part-time schedule. Our modern, supportive practice emphasizes teamwork, efficient workflows, and high-quality care for every patient.

You will perform cleanings, scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, capture digital x-rays, educate patients, and collaborate with the dentist to plan care. NY license and CPR are required; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active NY State Dental Hygienist license and CPR certification.
• 1–2+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term care strategies.
• Capture and interpret digital x-rays.
• Identify periodontal and restorative needs and collaborate with the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.
• Support a smooth, efficient daily schedule and patient flow.
