Job summary

Affinity Dental Management is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist for CDC of Richmond Hill in New York. The position offers a two-day per week schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays) with opportunities to provide comprehensive hygiene care in a supportive, patient-centered practice.

You will perform cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments, along with digital x-rays and patient education. NY licensure, CPR, and a strong team mindset are required or welcomed for new graduates.

Qualifications

• ADA-accredited dental hygiene program completed (required).
• Active NY State Dental Hygienist license and CPR certification (required).
• 1–2+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care: cleanings, scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term care.
• Capture and interpret digital x-rays.
• Identify periodontal/restorative needs; collaborate with dentist.
• Maintain patient records and ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Create a comfortable, positive patient experience.

Your Role as a Dental Hygienist
