Job summary

Valley Dental Group in New Brighton, MN, is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered; hours are Mon–Fri with some flexibility to accommodate patient care needs.

You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, delivering high-quality preventive care and patient education with supported mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• MN dental hygienist license is required and a DH degree (A.S. or B.S.).
• Strong knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification is required.
• Preferred experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and EMR systems.

$5,000 sign on bonus! Dental Hygienist needed! Valley Dental Group is adding a hygienist to the team.

Our hours are Mon 7-330, Tue 7-330, Wed 7-330, Thurs 7-1 Fri 7-330 but we are flexible!

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)


• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation


• CPR Certification


• Preferred Experience: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems


• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health


• Clinical needs as required by office


• No experience needed!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times


• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
