Elite Dental Partners in Peoria, IL is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform periodontal procedures, educate patients, and collaborate with the Dentist to develop tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with the team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and dental software; experience with Dentrix preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in alignment with patient needs and state board requirements.
• Educate patients on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and link to overall health.
• Chart periodontal disease conditions and collaborate with Dentist to plan treatment.
• Collaborate with team to manage scheduling, ensure patient experience quality, and maintain clinic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
• Two (2) + years’ experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
