Job summary

Elite-Dental-Partners in Peoria, IL is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist who shares our passion for patient care and education. You will perform periodontal procedures, educate patients on prevention, and collaborate with the Dentist to develop treatment plans, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygiene license with state board approval.
  • Two+ years’ experience preferred but not required.

Job description

We are seeking aDental Hygienistthat shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
  • Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining the oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
  • Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
  • Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications

  • Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
  • Two (2) + years’ experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred

Hourly rate

$45 - $50 USD
