Star Dental Partners in Marietta, GA is seeking a Part Time Dental Hygienist to join a patient-centered practice. Build relationships with patients, perform prophylaxis, screening, and educate on oral hygiene; Monday 7:45am - 5:00pm, Tuesday 7:15am - 4:30pm, with a possibility to add more days.

Qualifications

• Georgia Dental Hygienist License required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients for a positive experience.
• Screen patients and provide quality care during check-ups.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques.
• Review patient history and charting.
• Administer prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing.
• Document areas of existing restorations and use X-ray as needed.
• Support the dentist with procedures as required.

Robert C. Gittelman, DDS is adding a Part Time Dental Hygienist to the team in Marietta, Georgia!

This is an amazing opportunity for a personal and professional Dental Hygienist to join our caring team with our mission to provide quality care to patients in our patient-centered dental practice.

Part Time Schedule

Monday 7:45am - 5:00pm

Tuesday 7:15am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
• Reviewing patient's history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Georgia Dental Hygienist License (required)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred - but new grads are welcome to apply!
• Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
• Experience with dental practice software
• Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
