Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing for patients of all ages.
• Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings.
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in safety protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive strategies.
• Document patient records accurately using dental practice management software.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop and communicate treatment plans.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards per OSHA and CDC guidelines.

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
• Document patient records accurately using dental practice management software
• Collaborate with dentists to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines

Requirements:

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia (RDH)
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental radiography and digital X-ray systems
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative dental team
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
