Job summary

Hometown Dental is seeking a qualified dental hygienist to join our New Hampton, IA practice. The role includes performing hygiene procedures, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ($40-$50) with a $4,000 sign-on bonus, flexible schedules, and opportunities for professional development. This is an in-person position with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in state
• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Familiarity with dental software (Eaglesoft) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures: teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide care instructions
• Assist dentist during procedures with instruments and materials
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records and progress
• Collaborate with dental team to ensure efficient patient care
• Stay updated on current dental hygiene techniques and technologies

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Take and develop dental X-rays using medical imaging equipment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized dental care instructions
• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient treatments and progress
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Stay up-to-date with current advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies

Requirements:

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state]
