Festus Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Work Schedule (Open to Part-Time or Full-Time): Monday 7:45am-5:15pm, Tuesday 7:30am-5:15pm, Wednesday 8am-6:15pm, Thursday 6:45am-2:30pm, every other Friday 7:30am-1pm

Festus Family Dentistry, like all Heartland Dental supported offices, is unique to its community and patients. With support from a practice manager, a highly trained on-site team, and a vast network of experts nationwide, you’ll be fully connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in [INSERT STATE OF OFFICE] and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting employment, arranged during pre-employment. Not applicable in FL & TN.
