Job summary

Bloomfield Dental is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed and has 2+ years of experience; new grads with the right personality are encouraged. All hygiene appointments are 1 hour with assistants to help with turnover and setup.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CODA-certified program in Dental Hygiene.
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure.
• 1–2 years of experience in dental hygiene preferred.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Create dental impressions.
• Take x-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! You will be tasked with providing top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience (Don't be discouraged if you are right out of school but hard working with the right personality!). If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! All hygiene appointments are 1 hour and we have assistants ready to jump in to help with chair turnover and set-up. Additionally, we offer financial incentives for application of fluoride, sealants and other procedures.
