Geneva Dental Care is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join the team. You will provide top-notch dental care, screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams. State-licensed RDH with 1–2 years of experience is preferred to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the treatment area and help them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories accurately.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Take dental impressions and x-rays as needed.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health, safety regulations, and office policies.

• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques
• Create dental impressions
• Take x-rays
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure
• At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
