Job summary

Heartland Dental's Dental Care on Corkscrew in Estero, FL is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join a multi-doctor practice Tuesday–Friday 8–5. You’ll deliver compassionate, evidence-based hygiene care, screen patients, and contribute to perio maintenance while benefiting from a robust hygiene mentor program to develop your clinical skills.

You’ll join a supported team with access to advanced technologies and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current FL dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental hygiene care to patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New Graduates or years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
