Job Brief:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced dental hygienist to join our growing dental practice! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability once per week on either a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to patients
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene
• Maintain the dental office and equipment
• Communicate with patients and their families
• Provide administrative support to the dentist and office staff

Skills Required:

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current license to practice dental hygiene in the state of California
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail

Daily Duties:

• Prophylaxis
• Scaling and root planning
• Taking digital x-rays
• Fluoride application
• Patient education
• Soft tissue/periodontal maintenance
• Laser treatment for periodontal pockets
• Take digital intraoral photos

Schedule: Flexible

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
