As a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center, it serves communities across Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester counties.

We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team across split locations in Peekskill, Yonkers, and Beacon.

Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a dentist, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene services and education to adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include removing plaque, polishing teeth during checkups, screening patients, reviewing oral health histories, and teaching proper brushing and flossing techniques.

• Supervise and perform dental hygiene care, including removing deposits, stains, and providing prophylaxes, sealants, and debridement.
• Conduct periodontal charting and assist in periodontal treatment planning.
• Place and expose X-ray films, take impressions, remove temporary restorations, and apply rubber dams as requested.
• Provide patient education on oral health, tobacco cessation, and nutrition, including visual screenings for HeadStart and ABCD programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene
• 0-1 year of work experience (preferred 2-4 years)
• Valid NYS license to practice as a dental hygienist
• CPR certification
• Valid NYS driver’s license

Preferred Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) is highly preferred.

Salary Range

$87,760.40 - $93,020.20 annually (pro-rated based on hours)
