Gentle Touch Smiles in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking Dental Hygienists at all levels, including experienced professionals and new graduates. The role focuses on delivering thorough prophylaxis, scaling, and preventive care while maintaining accurate patient records and collaboration with dentists.

Formación

• A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Excellent verbal skills to communicate professionally with patients and staff
• Ability to travel between locations preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and preventive fluoride/sealant applications
• Accurately chart patient dental history, periodontal health, and treatment records in HIPAA-compliant systems
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act

• Provide oral hygiene services including thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealant applications
• Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act
