Gentle Touch Smiles in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist or new graduate to join our team. The role offers a collaborative clinical environment where you can grow your skills and deliver high‑quality patient care.

Formación

• Hygiene degree or certificate from an accredited program.
• Current valid state dental hygiene license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to travel between locations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide oral hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish, fluoride and sealants.
• Accurately chart patient dental history and update records per HIPAA regulations.
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist.
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act.

About the Role

• Provide oral hygiene services including thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, polish restorations, and application of cavity preventative agents such as fluorides and sealant applications
• Accurately chart a review of patient dental history and update as necessary, patient's periodontal health, record provided treatment, and handle patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide assistance as directed by the dentist
• Administer local anesthetics, if allowed by dental practice act

Qualifications:

• A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
• CPR/BLS Certification
