Responsibilities: • Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis • Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur • Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues • Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants • Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment Qualifications: • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations • Current CPR certification • Superb customer service and communication skills • Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued • Seasoned and new graduates are both encouraged to apply! Compensation: $62 hourly DOE
