Job summary

Emerald West is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to join our team in Boise. The RDH licensed professional will provide preventative and periodontal care, educate patients, and support the dentist with comprehensive dental services.

Qualifications

• RDH license in NV or ID is required.

Responsibilities

• Counselling patients and keeping them calm during examination and treatment.
• Screening patients and reviewing oral health history.
• Educating patients on proper oral care and diet impact.
• Taking X-rays and developing radiographs.
• Sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Assisting the dentist in all aspects of care.
• Documenting patient histories and charting conditions.
