Job summary

One Health Ohio is seeking a Dental Hygienist to support patients under the Dentist's guidance, focusing on preventative care and patient education. This is a full-time contracted position with a two-year agreement.

The role involves coordinating preventive treatment with the Dentist, documenting health histories, charting periodontal conditions, and maintaining accurate records across locations. PTO, benefits, and loan repayment eligibility are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program is required.
• Ohio Dental Hygienist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Support dental care to patients under the Dentist's guidance.
• Perform preventative care and patient education.
• Coordinate preventive treatment modalities with the Dentist for adults and pediatric patients.
• Maintain recall system and reminder postcards.
• Record patient health history and update at every visit.
• Chart periodontal conditions in the Electronic Dental Chart.
• Maintain accurate records and data in company software.
• Assist other departments to ensure proper workflow.
