Job summary
Seattle Colleges is seeking part-time Adjunct Faculty in the Dental Hygiene Program to teach didactic and clinical courses. Candidates must hold a Washington dental hygiene license and be in the process of completing a master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field.
Assignments vary based on instructor background and scheduling, with teaching in-class, hybrid, online formats and evenings/weekends as needed. AFT Seattle Local 1789 contract applies.
Qualifications
- Washington State dental hygiene license or eligibility for licensure.
- Process of completing master's degree in dental hygiene or relevant field.
- Willingness to teach in multiple formats (face-to-face/online/hybrid).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach part-time dental hygiene didactic and/or clinical courses.
- Work with diverse student populations in various classroom formats.
- Support student success and equitable learning environments.
- Use educational technologies to support teaching and admin tasks.
- Maintain required documentation and professional references.
