Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Graduate of CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene Program and DANB CDA.
• Current R.D.H. license in good standing from Alabama.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the field; chairside dental assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and maintain high competence in the teaching field.
• Develop, implement, and teach courses meeting student needs for effective learning.
• Evaluate and record student performance and provide prompt feedback.
• Participate as a contributing faculty member in long-range and short-term planning for the department and college.
• Maintain regular office hours and participate in faculty meetings.
• Attend as essential function must be present at work.
