Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of DH clinical practice.
• Commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in onsite and external clinical settings.
• Teach clinical skills in labs and clinical courses (dental materials, pain management, instrumentation, radiology, infection control).
• Assess student competency in the Dental Hygiene Process of Care including charting, exam steps, and treatment planning.
• Guide students in Standards for Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice and ongoing professional development.
