The instructor will deliver education and evaluation in both on-site and external clinical settings, teaching undergraduate students in lab and clinical courses, including dental materials, pain management, instrumentation, radiology, infection control, and patient assessment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in dental hygiene (DH) clinical practice.
• Commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and interact professionally with individuals and teams.
• Understand the scope of practice for dental hygienists and stay within parameters while teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality education and evaluation to students in onsite and external clinical settings.
• Teach clinical skills to undergraduate students in lab and clinical courses.
• Instruct on dental materials, pain management, instrumentation, radiology, infection control, patient assessment, and related duties.
• Assess and guide student competency in the Dental Hygiene Process of Care.
• Collaborate with supervisor on assignments and duties.
